Presenting Guidelines

Speaker Instructions
  1. The registration area is open from 07:00 AM IST every day from 6th to 9th February 2025.
  2. The projection format will be 16:9. Please use this format when creating your slide deck.
  3. Please keep your CV as the first slide in your presentation.
  4. PowerPoint 2016 and previous versions are accepted.
  5. If you are using slides for your presentation, please prepare your presentation slides using the DERMACON 2025 presentation slide template, which will be shared with you via mail or can be downloaded from our website Click here.
  6. If you are adding media elements to your presentation slide deck, please note the following:
    • Use the ‘Insert’ function to integrate media elements, such as images and videos.
    • Limit the size of your videos and sound to 1GB and use formats such as .mp4 and .wmv if possible.
    • If your video files come from medical equipment, ensure that special proprietary software is not required to play them on a PC.
  7. If you work on a Mac, choose Microsoft Windows-compatible fonts.
  8. Save and name your Presentation file with a .pptx extension for better compatibility.
  9. Please bring a copy of your PPT presentation on a USB stick, or another external hard drive, to the on-site preview room one day before, or at least 2 hours before your session.
  10. Strictly adhere to your allotted time.
  11. You will receive a beep/bell 1 minute before your scheduled time, and the projection of the screen will be stopped automatically at the time out. Kindly cooperate with us for the smooth conduct of scientific deliberations.
Speaker Consent and Confidentiality
  1. According to Indian law, speakers must sign a hard copy of the speaker consent form, which we will send along with your involvement letter.
  2. Each speaker can access and modify their presentation but will not have access to other speakers’ presentations outside of their sessions on-site.
Moderator Instructions

The role of the moderator is as follows:

  1. The registration area is open from 07:00 AM IST every day from 6th to 9th February 2025.
  2. The projection format will be 16:9. Please use this format when creating your slide deck.
  3. PowerPoint 2016 and previous versions are accepted.
  4. Please coordinate with your panelists by forming a WhatsApp group for smooth conduct of your session.
  5. Keep your CV and your panelists' CVs at the beginning of your session.
  6. If you are adding media elements to your presentation slide deck, please note the following:
    • Use the ‘Insert’ function to integrate media elements, such as images and videos.
    • Limit the size of your videos and sound to 1GB and use formats such as .mp4 and .wmv if possible.
    • If your video files come from medical equipment, ensure that special proprietary software is not required to play them on a PC.
  7. You will receive a beep/bell 5 minutes before your scheduled time, and the projection of the screen will be stopped automatically at timeout. Kindly cooperate with us for the smooth conduct of scientific deliberations.
  8. Engage the audience to make the session interesting.
Guidelines for Oral Presentation – Free Paper
  1. Prepare your presentation in Microsoft PowerPoint format.
  2. Use the DERMACON 2025 template, download it by Click here.
  3. Total number of slides should not exceed 14 to 16.
  4. Each slide should contain 6 to 8 lines at most.
  5. Upload your presentation in the preview room at the venue 1 day before your presentation.
  6. Ensure that videos, graphics, or images in your presentation are compatible with the latest computer software versions (Windows 10 and above).
  7. Allotted time for the presentation is 5 minutes.
  8. You will receive a beep/bell 1 minute before your scheduled time, and the projection of the screen will stop automatically at timeout.
  9. AV staff will assist with displaying your presentation.
Guidelines for Oral Presentation – Award Paper
  1. Prepare your presentation in Microsoft PowerPoint format.
  2. Use the DERMACON 2025 template, download it by Click here.
  3. Total number of slides should not exceed 14 to 16.
  4. Each slide should contain 6 to 8 lines at most.
  5. Upload your presentation in the preview room at the venue 1 day before your presentation.
  6. Ensure that videos, graphics, or images in your presentation are compatible with the latest computer software versions (Windows 10 and above).
  7. Allotted time for the presentation is 7 minutes.
  8. You will receive a beep/bell 1 minute before your scheduled time, and the projection of the screen will stop automatically at timeout.
  9. AV staff will assist with displaying your presentation.
  10. Identity should not be disclosed (e.g., name of the institution or guide).
